Catharsis is a concept introduced by Aristotle in his theory of tragedy, referring to the
alleviation of stress and the confrontation of pessimism through witnessing suffering. This work incorporates various media, drawing inspiration from Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy and integrating the artist’s personal experiences, it aims to explore the fragility of intimate relationships such as friendship and love.



The Conflict of Apollo and Dionysus,
Weaving dreams or ecstatic abandon,
Escape or collision with suffering—
The tragedy of human limitation.
The soul’s perverse delight:
is the ecstasy of destruction!
I just lament the inevitability of loss,
the helplessness in a raging flood.
Can this moment be preserved?
Before time changes everything,
even emotions, blurred into forgetfulness.
Countless times, I’ve thought escape to the memory,
Countless times.
Yet I yearn for struggle,
to unravel in fierce combat,
kind redemption by the axe cleaving my skull.
But like a bird in water, I find no purchase,
unable to release this enduring, heavy sorrow.
If fate is etched in the end of the life,
and prophecy contradicts will,
Do joy and pain still hold meaning?
God has brought human into the world,
to be a spectator of its works.
A heavy, unrelenting gaze.
Destiny is unyielding.
阿波罗与狄奥尼索斯的冲突,
营造梦境或忘我狂欢,
逃避亦或对冲痛苦,
是为人的局限性的悲剧。
灵魂的恶趣味,
是因毁灭而狂喜的体验!
我只是悲叹于失去的必然性,
猛烈洪水中的无能为力。
可否留住这一瞬?
在时间改变一切之前,
连情绪本身也模糊的难以记起。
无数次,想躲在回忆的牢笼里,
无数次。
我亦渴望斗争,
在激烈的斗争中瓦解,
被利斧砍开头颅的救赎。
却如水中之鸟,无可借力,
难以宣泄的,沉长痛苦。
若命运已在生命的远方写好,
预言与意愿相悖,
悲与喜的体验是否还重要?
神造世人,
是让其成为它行为的旁观者,
沉重的,纯粹的凝视。
天命难违。
